Your New Role...
The CNN Digital Research & Analytics team is looking for a Data & Insights Analyst, with a focus on data strategy (how we structure our data), collection (how we implement), and enablement (how we power others) to join our team as we expand our analytics solutions. This role will manage the workflows responsible for accurate data collection, processing, analysis and enablement. This role will be crucial in the execution of our data strategy and will serve as a core resource for enabling our data solutions & usage across the vast audience platforms. The Data & Insights Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across our Data, Analytics, Research, Testing team, as well as Product, Editorial and Revenue teams to support and implement high-quality data measurement capabilities and further support data-driven decisions. The role will ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting and data deliverables by influencing, designing and optimizing procedures and resources for our analytics users. This person should be ready to deep dive into an exciting & transitioning analytics landscape!
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Serve as a key contact for our data collection strategies and subject matter expert for data usability and enablement for our growing data ecosystem and platforms.
• Perform data validation across platforms and processes, identifying opportunities or gaps throughout the data collection lifecycle, and developing shared documentation for proper utilization to support the overall execution of our data strategy.
• Create and contribute to the data modeling of shared data sources, identifying usage patterns across sources, performing the required manipulations and generating foundational visualizations to foster enablement across teams.
• Support the ongoing develop of our teams Center of Excellence for data processes, standards and best practices around collection, audience measurement and documentation.
• Create and automate data monitors and alerting for data pipelines leveraging solutions like MonteCarlo and DBT Jobs.
• Collaborate with various teams to align data collection strategies and support the migration for product analytics, both traditional solutions and new pipelines to for our centralized data warehouse.
• Partner with implementation and delivery teams to ensure the data is consistently and accurately recorded across delivery platforms, expanding our capabilities for a more holistic view, while maintaining the flexibility for advanced measurement and segmentation of our audience data.
Qualifications & Experience...
• 3+ years experience in research, analytics, data science, or data-related field
• Proficient in SQL
• Hands-on utilization of data management & modeling tools: DBT (preferred), AirFlow, Databricks, etc.
• Experience with data monitoring & alerting solutions: MonteCarlo, Datadog, etc.
• Advanced experience with raw data and data warehouses: Snowflake (preferred), BigQuery, RedShift, Azure, etc.
• Strong data visualization skills and usage: Looker (a plus), Tableau, PowerBI
• Exposure to data pipelines and engineering solutions (e.g Snowplow)
Nice To Haves:
• Bachelors Degree or higher
• Strong communication, analytical and data translation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing deadlines
• Experience with analytics solutions: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or alternate solution

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $78,540.00 - $145,860.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
