Intelligence Digital Transformation Director

Key Role:

Leverage entrepreneurship by identifying, selling, and capturing work to help the company expand our digital presence across various areas of the business. Maintain responsibility for shaping strategic initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies, developing repeatable solutions that scale across multiple market verticals, and forming and leading cross-disciplinary teams and strategic partnerships in alignment with broader business strategies and goals. Lead highly technical growth efforts, including solution architecture, client interaction, proposal development, and pricing. Provide delivery leadership, business management, and client management for multiple software development projects or programs and maintain responsibility for providing guidance and direction on technical management, business management, service delivery, and overall contract performance. Build cross-functional teams of IT professionals and mentor team members on how to enhance their technical skills and build a big picture perspective about different components of a technology solution and how they fit together. Lead software development teams to prototype and rapidly deploy highly complex software systems. Drive all aspects of contract management, financial, and budget control and maintain responsibility for reviewing the financial performance of existing programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience leading technology strategy efforts and architecting, developing, and delivering advanced solutions for government or commercial clients

  • 10+ years of experience directly supporting federal clients with a Geospatial Intelligence mission, including geospatial enterprise-wide systems, system-to-system integrations, and system development processes

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex programs delivering a wide variety of technologies, including agile software engineering, AI, ML, big data, cyber, cloud, and IT infrastructure and operations

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects using various SDLC models, CMMI, SAFe, and Agile

  • 10+ years of experience with cloud enabled solutions, architecture development, and "As a Service" offerings

  • 5+ years of experience with software development and developing new and alternative technical solutions for clients in the form of technical proposals, white papers, and conversation pieces

  • Experience leading project teams of 50+ people and managing contracts, including those greater than $25 million and multiple subcontractors

  • Knowledge of the design, development, testing, implementation, and governance of software application programming interfaces (APIs) for geospatial systems

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity for classified systems

  • Experience in all phases of the proposal lifecycle

  • Experience as a capture and proposal manager

  • Experience with public speaking at industry conferences or events

  • Master’s degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Manager Certification

  • Agile Certified Professional (ACP) or Certified ICAgile Professional Certification

  • AWS Associate or Professional Certification

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $181,100.00 to $337,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
