Reporting to the Director of Data Operations and Services, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager, Data and Analytics with expertise in Power BI dashboard development and data analysis. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into compelling visualizations, actionable insights, and driving data literacy across the organization. The ideal candidate will coordinate with stakeholders and the data engineering team in developing advanced dashboards and ensuring data-driven decision-making is central to our operations.

This position is ideal for a leader who thrives on transforming raw data into compelling visual narratives. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of dashboard development, from understanding stakeholder needs and data collection to final implementation and iterative improvements. Additionally, you will play a critical role in defining best practices for data visualization, fostering a culture of data literacy, and ensuring consistent data governance across the organization. Your ability to collaborate across departments, identify opportunities to optimize reporting processes, and communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner will be essential to your success.

This is an individual contributor role that requires hands-on dashboard development and data analysis skills. This role may evolve into leading a team of skilled analysts and developers while also being hands-on with analytics development work overtime. This role works on US hours.

Essential Functions of the job: 

•    Lead the end-to-end creation of interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, focusing on usability, functionality, and business impact.
•    Develop and maintain data models, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
•    Implement advanced Power BI features such as drill-throughs, bookmarks, row-level security, and paginated reports.
•    Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and integrity across datasets.
•    Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing robust data validation techniques and workflows.
•    Collaborate with data engineering teams to define and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes.
•    Establish and maintain best practices for data visualization, governance, and version control.
•    Continuously enhance the performance of Power BI dashboards, reducing load times and improving user experience.
•    Act as a subject matter expert for Power BI and related analytics tools, providing training and support to team members and business users.
•    Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices, integrating them into the organization’s analytics capabilities.
•    Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and reporting needs.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine visualization requirements, ensuring dashboards address key business questions.
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, align priorities, and ensure consistent delivery of actionable insights.
•    Design processes for exploratory and ad-hoc analysis to support dynamic business needs.
 

Requirements:
 

•    5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development and data analysis.
•    5+ years of experience in working with enterprise data sources such as SAP, Workday and Salesforce.
•    Experience with managing and working directly with enterprise data lake, data warehouse, data visualization, and data science platforms.
•    Comfortable with both agile and SDLC project delivery models.
•    Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders. 
•    Experienced in resolving end-to-end issues with higher levels of management with minimum guidance.
•    Working knowledge of bio-pharma industry and clinical trials is strongly preferred.
