The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a deep understanding of modern data engineering practices, cloud technologies (especially AWS), and tools that ensure data accessibility, quality, and governance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to translate business needs into effective technical solutions>

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, defining impactful ML solutions.

• Apply advanced ML, AI, and Deep Learning techniques to structured and unstructured data, ensuring best practices to maximize business outcomes.

• Mentor junior data scientists, lead code reviews, provide feedback on technical designs, and establish best practices for development and implementation.

• Work closely with software engineers to write application code and deploy models in production using our ML platform.

• Act as a strategic partner in shaping the future of Data Science at Procore.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ML and AI.

• Experience developing, training, and optimizing Deep Learning models.

• Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Proven experience in developing and managing ML models in production.

• Ability to deploy large-scale predictive models handling unstructured data.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical and statistical concepts to a broad audience.
