We are currently searching for a Remote Scrum Master (Snowflake & Data Engineering):

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide cross-functional teams involved in Snowflake-based data modeling and ETL development.
• Support the team in designing, developing, and optimizing data models and ETL processes in Snowflake.
• Foster collaboration between data architects, business stakeholders, and developers to define and refine requirements.
• Ensure the successful deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Snowflake.
• Promote Agile best practices to improve team velocity, efficiency, and delivery quality.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to manage deployment pipelines and automation processes for Snowflake and ETL services.
• Remove blockers and facilitate continuous improvement within the data engineering and analytics teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in data engineering, analytics, or cloud-based projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience coordinating teams involved in ETL development, Power BI dashboards, and data governance.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, automation processes, and deployments in Azure DevOps.
• Ability to manage and facilitate team collaboration across technical and business functions.

Desired 

• Experience with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and SNS.
• Familiarity with DBT for building ETL pipelines, testing, and deploying transformation models.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for data pipelines.
• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is preferred.
• AWS / Cloud experience is a plus.

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.

• Data Modeling & ETL: Design, develop, and optimize data models and ETL processes using Snowflake for efficient data storage and analytics.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake, including SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Implement data transformation logic using SQL, Snowflake Stored Procedures (SQL and Python), and ETL tool to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data.
• Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security within the Snowflake environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Snowflake data warehouse.
• Experience as a Scum Master
