NeoGenomics is looking for an Enterprise Data Management Lead wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

Position Summary:
As the Enterprise Data Management Lead is responsible for the governance, quality, and management of test compendium master data across various business functions and IT systems. The Data Management Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the test compendium master data is accurate, consistent, and effectively used. They work cross-functionally to develop data governance strategies, maintain data quality, and ensure that the master data supports our organization's operations and compliance needs. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of data that drives business decisions, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
  • Test Compendium Maintenance: Responsible for directly updating the test compendium in accordance with designated policies, procedures, and release plans, including one-off field updates, bulk updates, and design of data update optimization through workflow automation
  • Accountability for Test Compendium Integrity: Responsible for the integrity and quality of the test compendium, ensuring that data is correctly classified, structured, and maintained
  • Governance Committee: Chairs and coordinates regularly scheduled test compendium governance committee meetings, driving communication and clarity across enterprise test data owners; evolves governance practices to align with maturity of data management
  • Test Compendium Quality Management: Ensures that the test compendium master data is accurate, up-to-date, and free from duplicates or errors through ongoing monitoring and validation of data quality
  • Lifecycle Management Tests: As tests move through different stages (e.g., launch, growth, decline, end-of-life), the compendium should reflect these changes in accordance with product launch dates and business goals
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field required
  • 3 years’ experience required in oncology diagnostic testing operations / biotech operations
  • Two years of experience preferred within a commercial laboratory or other healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of oncology and diagnostic testing within oncology
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, diagnostic lab business, CLIA/FDA terminology, and the pharma/biopharma industries
  • Familiarity with biotech operations systems (LIMS, LIS, ELN, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data management/visualization tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
