As a Senior Data Analytics Lead, youwill be the driving force behind our Business Intelligence (BI) Center of Excellence, ensuring data is accurate, well-structured, and consistently used across Welcome Pickups. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role, working across Commercial, Product, Finance, and Operations to enhance data governance, optimize analytical workflows, and support technical skill development.

Responsibilities

• Cross-team coordination & standardization: Lead the BI Center of Excellence, aligning analysts across teams while establishing a unified data governance framework for consistent and accurate reporting. Facilitate collaboration between analysts and data engineers to optimize infrastructure, maintain scalable systems, and ensure clear documentation.
• Data strategy & governance: Define and implement best practices for data management, governance, and reporting while driving data health initiatives, pipeline optimizations, and automation. Support the selection, integration, and optimization of BI tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
• People leadership & skill development: Mentor analysts in SQL, data modeling, and BI best practices while leading training programs to enhance data literacy. Partner with department heads to provide technical feedback, support analyst development, and assist in hiring for future BI roles.
• Project & sprint management: Implement a sprint-based approach to balance department needs with cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution and business impact. Track and optimize data workflows by removing inefficiencies and streamlining processes.
• Technical oversight & data engineering support: Collaborate with internal and external data engineers to improve data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting efficiency. Ensure seamless integration of data systems to support scalability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong SQL and BI tool expertise (strong preference in Power BI).
• Experience with data governance, documentation, and standardization in a high-growth company.
• Proven stakeholder management and project prioritization skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams on data strategy.
• Passion for mentoring and developing analytical talent, fostering a data-driven mindset across teams.
• Strong familiarity with data engineering concepts (ELT processes, automation, performance monitoring).
• Experience in fast-growing, data-driven tech or travel companies.
• Background in business intelligence transformation (e.g., implementing data governance frameworks, driving BI best practices).
