Job Overview
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency in inventory management, procurement, demand forecasting, and last-mile logistics. This position requires a data-driven professional with expertise in supply chain analytics, process optimization, and supplier collaboration to support our sustainable, closed-loop system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data-Driven Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Develop predictive models to anticipate customer demand and optimize inventory levels, minimizing waste while ensuring fulfillment accuracy.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment, cost-effective sourcing, and alignment with sustainability goals.
  • Last-Mile Logistics Efficiency: Support route optimization and delivery strategies to improve The Rounds’ closed-loop distribution system.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain workflows through automation and technology integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and data science teams to drive improvements in service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Sustainability & Waste Reduction Initiatives: Support The Rounds’ mission by identifying ways to minimize environmental impact through smarter logistics and procurement practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Atleast 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a fast-paced startup, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery environment.
  • Strong proficiency in supply chain analytics, data visualization, and forecasting tools (Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with route optimization and last-mile logistics tools is a plus.
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
  • Experience working with suppliers and logistics providers to enhance supply chain performance.
  • A deep understanding of sustainable supply chain practices and a passion for waste reduction and eco-friendly logistics.
