We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Analytics and AI Manager to lead a small team on driving actions through analytics insights & AI project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and data science, coupled with excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills. This role involves working closely with senior leaders and business users from various departments in our SEA & Oceania markets to identify and implement opportunities for growth and efficiency through analytics and AI solutions. This role will report to the Asia Business Intelligence Director.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Cross-Departmental Communication

  • Regularly engage with leaders and business users from retail, e-commerce, merchandising, supply chain, and CRM departments.
  • Identify opportunities to apply analytics or data science models to drive revenue growth or improve operational efficiency.
  • Building a Data-Driven Culture and improve data skills across the organization

 

Implementation of Analytics and AI Models

  • Develop and implement analytics or data science models to capitalize on identified opportunities.
  • Write models independently, source vendors for off-the-shelf solutions, and conduct proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Manage the end-to-end project implementation process.

 

Stakeholder Engagement and Roll-out

  • Lobby key stakeholders to support the roll-out of POCs to full-scale implementation.
  • Utilize commercial sense and technical knowledge to engage decision-makers and ensure project adoption.

 

Global Exposure and Collaboration

  • Tackle challenges from a dynamic business environment with exposure to a global scope.
  • Maintain regular catch-ups with the LVMH Group data science team to find synergies and ensure AI compliance in our use cases.

 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in analyzing large datasets and translating it to actionable business insights.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing analytics and AI models in a commercial setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python. Data modelling experience or experience on data science platform (eg, Dataiku, Alteryx, etc.) will be preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency in Mandarin will be a plus to work with stakeholders in China.
  • Experience in the B2C sector particularly in beauty, retail, luxury, or e-commerce industries is an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills. Direct business stakeholder management experience is required.
