Sr Platform Data Analyst

The Senior Platform Data Analyst will collaborate closely with our stakeholders and business partners to effectively define and manage product performance, ensuring customer-centricity and achieving business outcomes. In partnership with platform product teams, you will outline project roadmaps, develop business cases, design experiments, evaluate product performance and adoption metrics, identify actionable opportunities, define user stories, and prioritize the analytics backlog.

You will work with a cross-functional group of business, technology, and data stakeholders. Your projects will involve analyzing multiple large data sources (e.g., customer and supplier orders, execution and transactions, external trade and economic data), identifying actionable opportunities and insights to enable our product and business teams to provide industry-leading capabilities and fulfill our customer promise.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify actionable opportunities and insights to enable product and business teams to refine products, fulfill customer expectations, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Establish benefit estimation and validation methodology for product development across platform products.
• Design, test, evaluate, and monitor key performance indicators for products that are easy to understand, decision-oriented, and provide the appropriate level of detail and summary for various stakeholders from front-line employees to senior management level.
• Collaborate with platform owners and data development teams to ensure performance and adoption measurement is built to high standards of quality, granularity, efficiency, coverage, and accuracy.
• Design experiments to optimize product features and adoption levels to enhance business outcomes.
• Explore, interpret, manipulate, and visualize information from large-scale data sources.
• Establish mechanisms to prioritize demands and manage the analytics backlog effectively.
• Provide inputs on the availability of new data sources and the design of data infrastructure for analytical and product development purposes.
• Communicate complex ideas, issues, and recommendations in presentations and written forms to gain agreement from stakeholders at different levels and backgrounds.
• Mentor business analysts and product owners to develop analytical skills within platform teams.

Skills & Experience:

• Education: A degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Over 8 years of experience in Business Analytics, driving business outcomes through opportunity identification, behavior prediction, and performance analysis for complex, large-scale problems.
• More than 5 years of experience in Data Visualization (PowerBI preferred), Performance Monitoring, and operating within Cloud data infrastructure (Azure preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one data mining language (e.g., Python, SQL, SAS, R).
• Ownership: Proven experience leading end-to-end strategic projects from the scoping of business problems to exploring analytical solutions, assessing implementation feasibility, and monitoring performance.
• Accountability: Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards that ensure exceptional performance and execution.
• Agility: Experience in promoting best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis.
• Collaboration: Experience prioritizing the analytical agenda for efficient delivery while managing expectations across organizational and geographic boundaries.
