Job Description

Join our Central Data & Analytics Team in Zürich as a Master Data Management Lead and drive the design and implementation of innovative strategies for managing master data objects. In this role, you will ensure consistency, compliance, and a unified approach to master data across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies to align with business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish data ownership and accountability frameworks.
• Foster collaboration across domains by promoting alignment on data quality, sharing, and governance practices.
• Monitor and adapt policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory changes and evolving business priorities.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure the health and success of MDM initiatives.
• Drive initiatives to clean and harmonize data, improving data quality, reducing redundancies, and ensuring consistency across systems.
• Provide training and support to equip teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage and utilize master data.

Qualifications

Your Expertise – Our Strength

• A degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications in MDM are a plus.
• Several years of proven experience in Master Data Management, data governance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with domain-oriented data management approaches, such as Data Mesh, is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
