SAP Master Data Governance Consultant- Senior 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP Master Data Governance Senior Consultant, responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP MDG solution. This role involves ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of master data across the enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Implement and configure SAP MDG modules for material, customer, supplier, finance, and other master data domains.
• Define and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Manage master data lifecycle processes, including creation, updates, deletion, and archiving.
• Develop and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs to ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Coordinate with business units to understand their master data requirements and translate them into MDG solutions.
• Provide support and guidance for data cleansing, data enrichment, and data consolidation activities.
• Design and maintain workflows for master data approval and validation processes.
• Collaborate with the SAP technical team to integrate MDG with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and data stewards on MDG functionalities and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data governance.

Experience:  

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in SAP MDG
• Successfully completed at least two end-to-end implementations.
• Proven experience with SAP MDG implementation, configuration, and management.
• Strong understanding of master data principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.
• Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role.
• Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.

Competencies / Skills:

• Experience with data modeling, metadata management, and data profiling tools.
• Knowledge of industry-specific data governance regulations and standards.
• Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
• Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.

Education: 

• Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
• SAP certifications in Master Data Governance. (preferred).

Note: Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
