As an Analyst, Business Analysis you will work with our Data Product Analytics team to bring valuable Predictive AI solutions across the organization.  We collect large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills to develop solutions tailored to our business partner’s needs.   This role would participate in various steps along the analytics life cycle, including:

  • Data Collection and Validation

  • Data Wrangling

  • Understanding business values and needs

  • Model design and review

  • Data and model documentation

  • Dashboard building

  • Measuring the health of active models

Responsibilities Include:

  • Research, gather data, and perform analysis to interpret raw data and extract valuable meaning to find patterns and develop solutions that for our organization to grow and compete. 

  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and insights that can drive bank strategies and product development.

  • Collaborate on designing and building scalable data pipelines to support data ingestion for analytics and models.

  • Assist in productionizing various models.

  • Utilize Machine Learning and AI techniques to segment customer data and provide insights into customer behaviors and preferences.

  • Data mine and/or extract usable data from valuable data sources.

  • Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.

  • Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.

  • Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.

  • Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.

  • Provide insights into business and data trends, including analytical modeling around various banking metrics.

  • Collaborate with Business and IT teams to develops ad hoc/custom projects in support of business line partners.

  • Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.

  • Present results in a clear manner and document all aspects of code and analysis to ensure continuity. 

​Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, statistics, finance, or related technical field required

  • Experience using computer languages (Python, SQL)

  • Programming Skills – knowledge of statistical programming languages and database query languages including SQL with the ability to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.   Knowledge of cloud-based Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Power BI, SAS/ SAS EG experience is desirable.

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neural networks, graph ML, OCR, sentiment analysis, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc. Proficiency in statistics is essential.

  • Data Wrangling – proficiency in handling imperfections in data

  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools like Tableau

  • Problem-solving aptitude

  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques. Meticulous attention to detail.

  • A motivated self-starter and knowledge seeker.

  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be a flexible, independent team player with a positive attitude and willingness to step-in to provide support as needed while adapting to changing priorities and projects.

  • Effectively engage and communicate with colleagues.  Ability to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience.         

  • Ability to prioritize projects and tasks.  

  • Day to day tasks may include performing testing, controls, and procedures on special projects.

  • Analytical mind and great business sense

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000USD to $80,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
