Job Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Governance
Develop data strategy from multiple data sources including 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data to maximize usage of such data to drive richer insights to power marketing decisions
Develop a robust first party audience strategy that fuels our media activation efforts and enables us to target and reach the right audience across different stages of the customer’s lifecycle
Establish measurement framework and KPIs for all campaigns and digital initiatives
Maximize usage of MBS Martech stack (including MBS Customer Data Platform -Tealium) to orchestrate omni-channel use cases
Maintain and govern usage of MBS first party data to ensure compliance across the various jurisdictions
Maintain and optimize end-to-end customer tracking to better understand the value of our marketing campaigns
Business Intelligence
Create and maintain meaningful reporting dashboards to deliver performance and insights across website, media and business data
Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
Conduct regular customer analysis across MBS businesses and their interactions with the various digital platforms
Initiate ongoing data analysis to identify opportunities for the marketing teams to drive business performance
Analysis & Insights
Analyze audience performance data throughout the customer journey across the marketing tech stack including Customer Data Platform (CDP) such as Tealium, marketing channels, website etc. to improve relationship with our customers through better targeting and messaging (optimization of the customer journey)
Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze and optimize campaign performance
Support marketing teams on campaign and business analysis to uncover actionable insights to be included into business strategies across all key markets
Lead analysis & insights sharing sessions with stakeholders to deliver meaningful findings to spark strategic conversations and influence decisions
Forecasting & Advanced Analytics
Deliver and leverage on forecasting models to manage bookings pacing and media activities across all business units to ensure we deliver against targets
Employ advanced measurement and analytics techniques where necessary to uncover deeper insights for driving the business forward
Lead multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modelling or any other measurement projects to drive decisions on channel and spend optimization through understanding of brand and tactical campaigns / channels impact on conversions
Propose and define ways to make use of Media Effectiveness Measurement (MEM) tools in a relevant manner to help us make better business decisions and optimize our marketing investment to yield the fullest impact
Maintain automated workflows for existing projects while continuously identify opportunities to automate process to drive greater efficiency
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (eg. Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics)
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years in an analytics role driving performance and delivering strong business results
Other Prerequisites
Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable recommendations through data analysis to influence business decisions and strategies
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate into analysis
Well organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail
Proactive in leading analysis and troubleshoot data anomalies
Take ownership of all data projects and see them through to completion
Ability to prioritize and deliver tasks and projects on time
Possess a curious mind to want to investigate and constantly ask “why” and provide data driven answers
Passion for data and logical problem solving
Ability to explain complicated analysis to a business / marketing audience in less technical manner through real scenario examples
Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI and Looker Studio
Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills (insightful data presentations, storytelling to bring analysis to life)
Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience reporting with Web Analytics Tools (eg. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Experience using programming language to extract and prep data for analysis (eg. Python, R, SQL etc.)
Experience in eCommerce or digital marketing a plus
Experience in Customer Data Platform management and usage a plus
Experience with statistical analysis and modelling to drive better measurement a plus
