Arts and Sciences | FacilitiesReporting to the Director of Facilities and Associate Dean of Facilities, the Facilities Data Analyst is responsible for supporting The College of Arts and Sciences’ Space Information and Management System (SIMS) and serves as a facility related data analyst. The Facilities Data Analyst collects and maintains critical data on space assignments and usage and generates reports. The work performed by this position will help in the development of strategic plans to improve efficiencies, development of priorities for strategic investment and identifying areas where deferred maintenance issues must be addressed. Position operates with a good deal of autonomy and is expected to drive improvements into the processes and systems that are used to support this position.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge and understanding of data systems, data reporting and querying. Knowledge and experience with Excel and a modern data visualization tool, such as Tableau or Power BI. Ability to organize, catalog and manage large volumes of files data. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to understand data quality and have a deep commitment to ensuring data is accurate and reliable. Basic process mapping and process improvement skills. The position requires walking considerable distances to visit our spaces in 50+ buildings.
Desired: Experience with Space Information Systems. Experience with SQL query writing.

The pay range for this job profile is $58,700 - $77,200. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
