The Team

The position is within the ‘Data AI Ops team, which focuses on building a unified project management framework to drive the Data Transformation Journey. Our primary responsibility is to collaborate with partners in EDO and other business lines to understand their data transformation requirements. The team plays a pivotal role in prioritizing initiatives, bridging operations with technology teams, gathering business needs, identifying gaps in technology, and escalating them through the appropriate channels and forums.

As a Project Manager in the Data AI Ops team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the Data Transformation Journey by driving key initiatives and facilitating seamless collaboration between business, operations, and technology teams. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation of data transformation efforts, ensuring that business needs are met with scalable and strategic solutions. By prioritizing initiatives, identifying gaps, and enabling process improvements, you will help enhance operational excellence and technological advancements.   • Key Responsibilities:

Lead Complex Initiatives:

  • Utilize data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques, to generate actionable insights, trends, and recommendations for business operations
  • Act as a key participant in large-scale planning and cross-functional initiatives.

Analyze Business Challenges:

  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges.
  • Generate in-depth hypotheses and conduct advanced analyses of multiple components, including intangible factors.

Decision Making:

  • Make informed decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations, applying expertise in analytical thinking to resolve abstract business issues.
  • Influence and lead broader work teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Collaborate and consult strategically with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to drive recommendations and strategies.
  • Utilize data-driven insights, trends, and patterns to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals; may lead projects or serve as a peer mentor.

Consultation on Best Practices:

  • Provide consultation to peers on data science best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall team capabilities.
  • Prompt refinement, consultation on responsible AI usage and token optimization methods

Effective Communication:

  • Communicate actionable insights and recommendations in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels, ensuring clarity and understanding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Proven experience in project management within a data science or analytics context.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects is preferred.
  • Experience on PPM tools like Solutions Business Manager (Micro Focus Tool) and/or Agile Execution tools like Azure DevOps (Microsoft tool), Jira (Atlassian) will be preferred
