We are building Digital Commercial products developing outstanding capabilities that will participate in new drug discovery together with scientists, in trial efficiency and cycle time reduction, leveraging Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. 

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Perform data analysis and provide input to solution design and architecture to ensure the solution meets requirements. 

  • Conduct advanced data manipulation (extract, aggregate, categorize, cleans, transform, ...), merging complex datasets from multiple sources 

  • Effectively work with governance teams to ensure data integrity and establish quality controls across multiple dimensions and contexts 

  • Performs exploratory data analysis, in-depth statistical analysis and interpret trends or patterns to derive actionable insights 

  • Create compelling data narratives and comprehensive reports for stakeholders 

  • Design and develop interactive, customized dashboards and visualizations 

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders on enterprise data models and definitions 

  • Partner with stakeholders to get buy-in on, develop, and implement Sanofi’s data management standards, policies, and best practices 

 

As a Data Analyst, you will have a direct impact on the business by deriving insights from Data and ensuring the quality, usability, and security of Sanofi’s data. You are analytical, creative, and collaborative. You have keen attention to detail and take the time to understand our stakeholders’ data needs and challenges. You continually seek to improve your knowledge of new technologies and industry standards to drive the development of simple, yet effective solutions. You enjoy partnering with stakeholders to design and implement data management best practices and procedures. You are a self-starter, see challenges as opportunities, and are results oriented. You take pride knowing your work enables innovation and helping Sanofi build better solution. 

 

About you  

Experience:   

  • Proven track record of handling complex data projects in varied business contexts, with experience in healthcare being a strong plus 

  • Experience in implementing data governance and quality control measures 

  • Proficiency with data management tools, including business glossary, metadata management, data cataloging, and data quality systems 

  • Strong ability to identify, quantify, and effectively communicate business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance (data privacy laws and regulations) 

  • Demonstrated skill in translating data insights into actionable business recommendations 

  • History of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management 

  • Experience developing best Lean & Agile practices, policies, and/or procedures 

 

Soft skills: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective data storytelling 

  • Experience working with multiple teams to drive alignment and results 

  • Collaborative problem-solving skills 

  • Proactive and self-motivated 

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities 

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies 

  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior team members 

  • Ethical approach to data handling and privacy concerns 

 

Technical skills: 

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries and database management 

  • Expertise in statistical analysis tools and techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing, ANOVA) 

  • Mastery of data visualization tools and techniques for creating interactive, complex visualizations 

  • Strong skills in data modeling, including design, optimization, and cross-functional integration 

  • Proficiency in data management practices, including data governance and lifecycle management 

  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) 

  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis 

 

Education: 

  • Preferred qualifications: Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics 

Languages: English, French
