Senior Data Analyst

Senior Data Analyst navigates complex data to extract complete and accurate insights supporting strategic and operational business decisions for various areas of business. They lead analytical projects by understanding business requirements and translating them into analytic solutions, designing sustainable reporting and identifying opportunities to automate/improve reporting processes to help the company evolve into more data driven organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Leading analytical projects by understanding business requirements and translating them into analytic solutions, designing sustainable reporting and identifying opportunities to automate/improve reporting processes to help the company evolve into more data driven organization.

• Being a single point of contact for business stakeholders to understand and assess the need and coordinate with other teams (e.g. BI, developers, data engineers) to get a proper solution delivered.

• Managing full analysis cycle – data gathering, analysis, building reporting solutions, presenting conclusions and influencing others on the execution.

• Performing analysis on existing customer, transactional data etc. and identifying business opportunities and challenges.

• Providing ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed.

• Providing recommendations for business partners based on analyzed data.

• Monitoring delivered solutions quality and reporting issues to appropriate teams.

• Supports reporting tools adoption with analytic expertise and training.

• Following data governance standards.

• Complying with IT quality policy. 

• Taking part in developing other team members’ skills.

Qualifications & skills:

• 5+ year experience working in data related field, experience working as a data analyst leveraging BI.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Structured yet agile approach – with knowledge of the scrum agile methodology.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Business acumen.

• Able to work in cross-functional teams and various level of stakeholders (from subject matter experts to senior leadership).

• Experience in coordinating topics between multiple teams.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
