The Integrated Product Analytics (IPA) team at Collins Aerospace is looking for a manager to drive strategy and execution in developing data products that provide on-demand insights for business users within our Power & Controls organization.

As part of the IPA team, you will combine your knowledge of engineering products and data analytics to help develop the first end-to-end product lifecycle digital thread for a suite of Power & Controls products. You’ll play a key role in connecting data from previously siloed sectors of the company, generating new insights to improve our products, services, and business intelligence.

What You Will Do

• Learn the fundamentals of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Provide data analysis support for business needs using Python coding.

• Perform statistical analysis to quantify the completeness and validity of data sources.

• Provide support for engineering root cause analysis investigations.

• Advocate for the use of semantic models and ontologies throughout the business.

• Implement machine learning algorithms on varied datasets.

• Serve as a Product Owner within an Agile Scrum methodology to develop a data product.

• Help guide the data strategy to increase data literacy and maturity, enabling data-driven decisions across the business.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• Experience serving as a Product Owner for an Agile Scrum team.

• Python coding language experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Data Science or Statistics or Engineering.

• Experience with graph databases, sematic layers, and data ontologies.

• Experience with AWS or Azure or Spark.

• Experience with Git or similar software revision control best practices.

• Understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from concept to delivery.

• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
