Core Responsibilities
As our Advanced Analytics Lead, you will be instrumental in developing advanced analytics models to address complex financial challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying data science opportunities to solve business challenges by collaborating with finance partners to understand their needs to provide innovative, data-driven solutions using advanced analytics or machine learning techniques.
Developing and implementing advanced analytics models, selecting appropriate algorithms for specific business use cases, and deploying AI/ML models into production while integrating them with existing data and IT systems. Additionally, ensuring a smooth rollout by onboarding users, facilitating adoption, and providing necessary training and support for the delivered product.
Supporting strategic decision-making by applying statistical models and techniques, such as regression analysis and time series analysis, to understand financial phenomena and predict future trends. You will also explore data proactively to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
Collaborating with various groups to enhance the value of AI, ML, and other data science initiatives. You will work with citizen data scientists, partner with data engineers, and collaborate with domain experts across the organization.

You will join the Corporate Finance, Systems, Analytics, and Insights team, responsible for the accuracy and quality of all data across the Finance organization, while driving our agenda to be more digital and data-driven. This is a highly visible role within the team and central to driving our transformation to becoming data-driven and elevating our decisions with advanced analytics across the finance organization.
Do you have what it takes?
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Finance Data Scientist / Advanced Analytics Lead with a solid background in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have few years of experience with data science or data engineering, preferably with a master’s degree in data science/data engineering. In addition, they will have:
A strong formative understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts, including linear algebra, probability theory, and algorithms. Proficiency in data management, data mining, and quantitative analysis is essential.
Technical skills in programming languages such as Python, experience with data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and an understanding of MLOps practices, including DevOps principles like IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks), as well as proficiency in DSML platforms like Amazon SageMaker or Azure ML.
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to build and run advanced analytics models, interpret complex data, and deliver actionable insights.
Nice to Have:
Finance domain knowledge, preferably with experience in Finance Data Science or Insights & Analytics or in finance partnering and FP&A roles
You can either be based in our Billund Campus or Copenhagen office, Denmark. Please note there is no relocation budget for the role.
