Purpose of the job

The Product Delivery Analyst role is within the Technology Team for the Insurance organisation with the key purpose of administering data alongside the running of regular reports, receiving and actioning service requests within agreed SLAs, to identify where requests are outside of regular service and to ensure enough information is obtained to pass the issues to the relevant technology team through satisfying several critical activities:

· Support the process to collate, translate and hold reference data to represent Insurance contracts with our distributors, re-insurers and TPA’s is completed in a controlled and timely manner

· Deliver Insurance transactional data through the Insurance Data Lake ensuring the output

meets the needs of the business within SLA’s

· Log and support the resolution of error handling for transactional data input into the Insurance systems from the initial error, through to the timely resolution and continued reporting of outstanding errors with the appropriate visibility

· Ensure Service request for the Insurance systems, principally SAP and the IDL, are actioned. Including, but not limited to, master and reference data, system role maintenance and user access 

· Administer the running or regular reports ensure they are delivered to the business within SLA 

· Triage issues and change requests from the business presenting these to the relevant team within the Technology department and liaising with the business to provide further information where required 

Through these activities the role will ensure a strong link between the Technology function and multiple business teams such as underwriting and Finance. Critically, the Product Delivery Analyst will have an important role in ensuring reference and transactional data and regular reports are processed within acceptable timeframes. 

The role will work closely with peers, Product Owners, Insurance Technology Engineering Team, Finance, commercial, compliance, legal, operations, servicing teams.

Key Responsibilities


· Administer the onboarding, renewal and offboarding of Insurance and re-insurance

contracts primarily into our Finance and Data systems to ensure all transactional data held within the Insurance Systems impacted by technology solutions are delivered with accuracy and within appropriate timelines

· First line support for service requests for Insurance Systems which support our Finance and Data solutions

· Provide status updates for outstanding service requests and report resolutions time against SLA’s

· Support the monitoring, reporting and resolution interface exceptions from source systems in the Finance System (SAP)

· Administer the ingestion of transactional data within the IDL to support production processes as well supporting the testing of ingestions that are being developed

· Administer the recording and resolution of errors reported for data ingested into the IDL

· Support the Data and Finance Teams by acting as a contact with the business teams

· Complete the running of regular reports that are owned by the Data team within the Insurance Technology function

· Ad hoc tasks as required


Knowledge, skills and experience required


· General insurance, or equivalent experience with a good understanding of a regulated industry e.g. financial services an advantage

· Experience of system administration or maintenance

· Experience of using Jira or similar service/ticketing administration tools an advantage

· Collaborative stakeholder skills to proactively engage to seek resolutions

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organisational skills

· Keen eye for detail and feel comfortable to challenge where the need arises

· Ability to prioritise workload effectively and be calm and capable under pressure

· Comfortable working on their own initiative to support the whole team in achieving success.
