We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to join us in a very exciting time for Capital.com. This role will be pivotal in supporting the professional growth and guiding our Data Engineering team with ongoing duties, ensuring the efficient execution of projects focused on data quality, processing speed, and system modernization.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 10 data engineers
• Ensuring high-quality implementation by ensuring correct SDLC processes
• Capturing Lessons-Learned from operations
• Translating stakeholder requirements into backlog items
• Supporting all team members in their professional growth

Technologies required:

• Python (Airflow, Requests, spark-nice to have)
• SQL (postgresql, redshift)
• AWS
• Docker/k8s
• REST APIs
