Job Overview

We are seeking a Prototype Engineer to join our Prototype Team, responsible for quickly responding to both customer and internal requests. You will design, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions, with a focus on generative search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to be creative, break free from traditional development roles and is willing to embark on a collaborative problem-solving journey.

How you will make an impact: 

• Analyze and transform customer and internal needs into technical requirements for rapid prototyping.
• Architect and optimize AI solutions, especially leveraging LLMs
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to build and refine prototypes based on feedback.
• Develop data pipelines for document ingestion, retrieval and transformation
• Adapt and leverage existing RAG solutions for new use cases
• Have good documentation practice to collaborate and expand upon shared knowledge
• Be curious on industry developments and innovations on all things generative AI

Do you have what it takes:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong experience with AI technologies, particularly generative search and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python and practical LLM experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to function independently with strong time management skills.
