Wage range or Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (with additional compensation incentives such as bonus program, pension contributions, etc.)

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about utilizing data and analytics to help us deliver on our mission. With a strong blend of analytical thinking and business acumen, you will proactively identify opportunities for improvement and help shape data-informed strategies that support our Lottery business goals.
The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in driving the success of our Lottery business by delivering accurate and actionable information to strengthen decision marking. In this role, you will create dashboards to monitor performance, analyze results to uncover insights and optimize programs, and provide audience segmentation to inform engagement strategies.
This role is ideal for a professional who combines technical proficiency with a strategic mindset, is a resourceful problem solver, and is eager to learn, innovate, and make a meaningful impact on our mission.
You will:
- Act as a bridge between the Lottery business and analytics team, focusing on aligning data insights with business questions and goals.
- Synthesize multiple data sources and research insights that capture customer insights, convey ideas, and provoke new growth opportunities.
- Analyze data to generate insights with actionable recommendations to enhance customer engagement, retention, acquisition, and lifetime value.
- Create audience segmentation for marketing campaigns and measure results.
- Design and conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate insights with recommendations.
- Build forecasting models to monitor in-program performance towards goal, as well as post-program to set ticket offerings in future programs.
- Consolidate key business performance insights to guide future planning, partnering with relevant teams to gather and analyze data.
- Create and present clear, engaging reports, dashboards, and visualizations to inform decision-making.
- Help define and refine KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or graduate degree in data science, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in data analysis, reporting, market research, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to work with diverse datasets and apply analytic techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, time-series forecasting).
- Experience with building dashboards using Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Experience in large scale customer data mining and customer analytics, including experience with segmentation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations that influence business decisions and drive measurable outcomes. Possess a strategic mindset, ensuring analytics discoveries lead to actionable change and help shift organizational perspectives.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in communicating analytics discoveries and insights to senior leadership.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset with a collaborative, team-first approach.
