As a Data Analyst (IT), you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to improve business processes and decision-making. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders, utilizing MS SQL, C#.NET, and data visualization tools to develop reports, automate processes, and optimize data management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and queries to extract meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and optimize C#.NET applications for data processing, automation, and integration with business systems.
- Create data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools to support business intelligence.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with industry standards.
- Automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data collection and reporting.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Support IT projects by integrating data analytics and reporting functionalities into existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server (query writing, stored procedures, optimization).
- Experience in C#.NET for application development, automation, and system integration.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Understanding of database design, normalisation, and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for data storage and processing.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
