About You:

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline (aka ETL) architecture, create reusable framework for timely data delivery
• Manage and prioritize tasks and multiple projects effectively in a dynamic and a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, while balancing technical details with business needs
• Take ownership of end-to-end projects and drive it to completion in a timely manner
• Respond quickly to critical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience with Snowflake
• Strong Knowledge of and experience with AWS core cloud services (S3, EC2, etc.)
• Experience with Orchestrators/Schedulers (Airflow, others)
• Experience working with Programming Language(s) (Python, Java)
• Writing and maintaining complex SQL Stored Procedures
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
• Comfortable working with Linux
• DBT or SQL Mesh experience is advantageous
• Previous experience with Data Governance policy implementation is beneficial
