This role is a mix of being a developer, an architect, and an evangelist, by actively engaging with customers to help them understand, plan and prototype Generative AI applications including techniques like Retrieval Augmented Generation and Agentic AI, design and assist in execution of proofs of concept, design sample code/applications and hands-on-labs, write technical blogs, and present at industry forums.

The Developer Evangelist closely partners with Product Managers and the sales teams to influence developers, architects, CTO, CDO, and CIO.  You will bring a strong sense of ownership and a ‘build, own, sell, and support’ mentality.

What you’ll do

• Engage with the developer community to increase the awareness of Oracle’s offerings for rapid experimentation and development of Generative AI applications using Oracle Database 23ai AI Vector Search, Generative/inferencing models (LLMs, SLMs), embedding models, and frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Help customers to navigate development and optimization of enterprise-grade applications using Generative AI, including topics like document readers, chunking strategies, embedding, vectors, semantic search, RAG, agents, evaluation, prompt engineering, history and context, re-ranking, grounding, model hyper-parameters, and so on.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Developers who are influencers, potential customers and partners in the Generative AI space.
• Collect and provide feedback to the product team on customer needs, pain points, and feature requests.
• Represent Oracle at events, conferences, and other engagements.
• Deliver engaging product demos and presentations to potential customers and partners.
• Contribute to the development, testing, promotion and support of Oracle contributions to the Generative AI-related frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI and so on, and to Oracle’s own products to support rapid experimentation and iterative development for Generative AI applications.
• Create content that resonates with the developer community.
