Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer at BEUMER Group, you’ll design innovative solutions that drive efficiency and reliability in sortation and handling systems for logistic sites around the globe.

Our logistics customers seek innovative solutions to make their sites more efficient, as full automation of manual processes through technologies such as mobile carrier robots, articulated robots, computer vision software, and in general, a strong focus on digitalization as a key driver of efficiency.

Global innovation team
As our new Senior Software Developer, you will join a global, cross-functional R&D team consisting of highly skilled professionals in computer vision, robotics, user experience design, software architecture, and software development. The team's mission is to innovate products and systems within the logistic business domain.

In your role as Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, deploying, and debugging software.
  • Working on both backend and frontend as a full-stack software developer.
  • Conducting code and design reviews.
  • Providing estimations for new development initiatives.
  • Supporting software architecture.

The position is in Aarhus, and you will have stakeholders within the organization, both locally and internationally.

Driving business value
The ideal candidate has a strong background in designing and implementing automation solutions across various software platforms. You are innovative, proactive, and capable of developing automation systems that enhance efficiency and drive business value.

You bring the following qualifications to the role:

  • A strong foundation in software development with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Experience in microservice development, virtualization, and container orchestration.
  • Experience in software architecture and systems design.
  • Proficiency with a range of software tools (e.g., GitLab, Docker), programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python), and operating systems (e.g., Linux).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
