Location:
Remote (for Colombia and Argentina residents).

Project description:
Our client is a leading platform that connects buyers, sellers, and renters in various industries, including powersports, recreational vehicles, aircraft, marine, commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment. With a wide range of marketplaces under its portfolio, the company's brands are well-recognized and cater to over 13 million monthly unique visitors. With many decades in the business, they provide exclusive tools and insights to help dealers effectively manage and grow their businesses. Additionally, the company powers thousands of dealership websites through its brands, such as Commercial Web Services.

You will be working as part of a team of engineers to build and support search functionality across the marketplace, providing a state-of-the-art search experience to help consumers take action on their search results.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Architecture Team to accurately gather and interpret data requirements and specifications to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Support activities including data movement, data aggregation, data integration, data quality, and data cleansing.
  • Assess and document the structure, quality, and compliance of source data, coordinating with customers and the Architecture Team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Monitor automated and manual data integration jobs to verify execution and measure performance.
  • Communicate status, issues, and accomplishments periodically to management and to customers requesting reports.
  • Assist other employees in data integration tools, programs, processes, and best practices.
  • Timely setup of data integration for new accounts and account change requests.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with 3rd party data providers for various services.
  • Liaison between Customer Service, DEV, Architecture, and Management teams.
  • Track and communicate site issues between teams.
  • Ongoing management of Make and Model data tables.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, provide recommendations, and solve customer concerns relating to and/or affecting their inventory data feed.
  • Deliver extraordinary customer service, contributing to an outstanding customer experience above and beyond the call of duty every day.

Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and savvy individual to help analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer concerns related to and/or affecting their inventory data feed. The ideal candidate should be confident in their abilities to maintain the integrity of the data integration process and look for new and innovative ways to improve processes and the accuracy of the information for the client.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with data files.
  • Strong working knowledge of FTP and API processes.
  • Previous experience working in-depth with XML, XSLT.
  • Experience with data integration tools and processes.
  • Salesforce experience required (extract data).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 or 4-year degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial Truck or Heavy Equipment industry.
