About the Role 

As a Data & Analytics Product Lead (DPL) within our Data Office, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge analytical products. You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure our products meet business needs, transforming data into valuable insights.

The ideal candidate will be a data-driven professional with strong data engineering and analytical expertise, a proven history of leveraging data to support business decisions, and the ability to lead a team of analytical engineers. You will perform in-depth data analysis to understand source data and business requirements, ensuring the products align with analytical needs and deliver maximum business value.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to understand their analytical product requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  •  Design and Develop Analytical Products: Create, develop, and maintain high-quality data pipeline and analytical products, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  •  End-to-End Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis from source to target systems, defining the optimal solution design for analytical products.
  •  Ensure High Standards of Data Governance: Adhere to coding, data governance, and best practice standards to ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of analytical products.
  •  Drive Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
  •  Adoption: Adopt a creative approach to enhance user access to and drive the adoption of analytical products that enable insights.

 

About You 

We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics. With a passion for data-driven solutions, you should be eager to share your technical knowledge and best practices with the team, encouraging innovation and improving processes.

 

Technical Skills 

• A degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics.

• 7+ years of experience in designing and developing data pipeline.

• Proficiency in leading BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView for designing, developing, and deploying dashboards and reports.

• Proven experience in leading an analytical team, guiding them through the end-to-end development process of analytical products and solutions.

• Proficiency in data storytelling

• Experience in creating KPIs, metrics, and data visualizations to simplify complex business problems.

• Experience working with large data sets on enterprise data platforms and distributed computing (Spark/Hive/Hadoop preferred)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Demonstrated strength in data modelling, ETL and storage/Data Lake development.

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.

• Experience with Palantir Foundry (Beneficial)

• Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning models (Beneficial)

• Knowledge of Insurance Domain, Financial Industry or Finance function in other industries is a strong plus

 

Soft Skills

• Experience in collaborating and working with global business stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate standard of written and verbal communication in complex environments

• Able to lead the team, ensuring a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best.

• Multi-tasking to prioritize, plan, and deliver synchronously

• Desire to understand detailed requirements and facilitate the process of analyzing solution options.
