The Sr. Manager Spatial Data will be supporting all activities related to the day-to-day ownership of the client’s Space Management Program for Cushman & Wakefield; people, process and tools. The Sr. Spatial Data Manager will report to the Director of Spatial Data Management.Job Description
Principle Responsibilities
• Be the lead subject matter expertise in the areas of spatial data management, CAD / CAFM administration, space and occupancy data analytics and space utilization measurement.
• May be asked to provide oversight to multiple Cushman & Wakefield space management accounts with differing CAD / CAFM tools. Experience in transitioning a real estate portfolio between systems may be critical to success in this role.
• Responsible for compliance of client space data standards, establishing a consistent data governance model and will have ultimately responsibility for program performance. This role will also be responsible for ensuring linkage with the space management platform in receipt of best practices and bringing innovation to the account team/client.
• Responsible for identifying staffing needs in support of portfolio expansion and contraction.
• Be on point to lead special projects that require space and occupancy data analytics and space utilization data.
• Ensure data governance - control of input sources and data consistency
• Ensure data confidence - control of data measurement standards and KPI’s
• Responsible for maintaining data accuracy and integrity in the space management system for all physical spaces in the client's
portfolio, this includes occupancy, capacity and vacancy metrics.
• Manage the workflow of maintaining up to date space data changes, including move requests for FF&E and employees, in the CAFM system
• Develop and manage space and occupancy audits for the portfolio, on a defined cadence, to verify assigned employees, business
unit allocations, space types, capacities, seat sharing ratios, and floor plan layouts.
• Develop and implement reporting system from the CAFM data to run historical, current and projected space data reports to
support real estate decisions
• Manage (if applicable) sensor/utilization system & integration with the CAFM system
• Lead the development of spatial and occupancy utilization reports and analyzes data in the CAFM system to create data sets that
informs how to optimize space within client portfolio
• Contribute to the development of playbooks for system trainings; manages the training of users, establishing cadences and
guidelines depending on user groups
• Define a workplace support / communication system to ensure all spatial and data occupancy data is up to date on a regular
cadence
• Develop and define ideal reporting methodologies for automated portfolio data reports
• Develop and maintain dashboards of key spatial and occupancy data
• Lead all system integration efforts with the CAFM system to further enhance the availability and quality of spatial and occupancy data
• Up to 10% travel anticipated for this role
Requirements
• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management, Data Analytics or Occupancy Planning
• 9 to 13 years experience in a corporate real estate environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Experience with CAFM systems preferred
• Experience with Serraview preferred
• Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills with strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
• Strong attention to detail and quality with ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
