Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Quality and Governance Leader to join our People Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal leader in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of our HR data ecosystem. This role will be responsible to design, implement, and oversee frameworks and processes that promote data quality, compliance, and standardization across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Data Quality Management:

o Develop and enforce data quality standards, metrics, and processes for HR data.

o Implement regular data audits and validation techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness of workforce data.

o Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies and systemic issues.

o Proactively monitor data quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Governance Frameworks:

o Define and implement HR data governance policies and procedures including a data dictionary, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.

o Establish clear roles and responsibilities for data stewardship across the organization.

o Facilitate cross-functional data governance committees to ensure alignment and accountability.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Partner with HR, People Analytics, IT, and business leaders to understand data needs and align governance practices.

o Train and educate stakeholders on data governance principles and their role in maintaining data quality.

o Act as a subject matter expert in data governance and provide guidance for data-related projects.

• Technology and Tools:

o Support the integration and optimization of data platforms, ensuring they align with governance and quality objectives.

o Evaluate and recommend tools or technologies to enhance data quality and governance capabilities.

• Reporting and Metrics:

o Develop dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance compliance.

o Communicate data quality insights and trends to senior leadership, highlighting areas of risk and recommending solutions.

Qualifications

o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

o 5+ years of experience in data quality, governance, or analytics, preferably within HR or a similar function.

o Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and data architecture.

o Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). o Experience with regulatory requirements related to HR data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

o Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

o Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Experience working in People Analytics or similar HR-focused roles.

o Familiarity with data privacy and security standards. o Certification in data governance (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) or HR systems (e.g., Workday certification).
