RPA Developer / Business Analyst (Hyperautomation CoE)

This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions within Hong Leong Bank Berhad. The incumbent will work closely with business units to analyze processes, design automation workflows, and develop bots using RPA software (e.g., UiPath) to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity. This position requires a strong technical background in RPA development, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Functional: Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and design efficient RPA solutions. Develop, test, and deploy RPA bots using UiPath or other relevant technologies. Monitor and maintain deployed bots, ensuring optimal performance and resolving any issues. Document automation workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to integrate RPA solutions with existing systems. Stay abreast of the latest RPA trends, best practices, and technology advancements.

• Organizational: Contribute to the overall success of the Hyperautomation CoE by supporting the implementation of the bank's hyperautomation strategy. Participate in knowledge sharing and training initiatives to promote RPA adoption across the organization.  

Jobholder Requirements:

• Education/Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in RPA development and implementation, preferably with UiPath. Strong understanding of RPA concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Experience in process analysis, workflow design, and solution documentation.

• Good-to-have Skills: Familiarity with banking processes and regulatory requirements. Experience with other automation technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning). Programming skills in languages like Python or .NET.

• Certification/Licensing Requirements: Professional certifications in RPA tools or methodologies (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional) are advantageous.
