Job Description: Data Specialist

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Data Specialist to join its world-class Sales team.  This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

As a member of the Sales Development Team, you will be responsible for profiling accounts and determining qualification status.  Once an account is profiled, the account will be transferred over to the SDR team for outreach.  This is a critical role that contributes to building sales pipeline opportunities for the field sales team.

Role and Responsibilities

Account and Contacts Research – The Data Collection Specialist will be responsible for completing detailed account research templates that provide the necessary information about each account. This includes verification of existing contacts, identification of new contacts, and corporate initiatives related to energy & recent news. Will utilize Bloom Energy’s toolset of Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Co-Star & credit rating tools.

Skills Required

• Ability to digest information from corporate websites, annual reports, analyst research, etc. to decipher information meaningful to account strategy and outbound prospecting, and synthesize into concise transfer of knowledge
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, motivation and initiative.
• Professional business acumen, strong communication skills, strong presence & confidence
• Team oriented – must possess a willingness to simultaneously accept and contribute new ideas
• Manage time well and routinely prioritize tasks by their intended impact.
• Familiarity with common office software, Salesforce.com and web 2.0 sales tools; comfortable learning new software.
• 2- 3 years of business experience preferred
• BA/BS degree, business-related preferred
