The Procurement Strategy & Insights Team serves as the nerve center of the Unilever global procurement organization, which enables the procurement organization to design and deliver step-change across the procurement value chain, operating process, and business model. This team is responsible for:

• Sensing and incubating innovative ideas, new business models & transformation programs for value creation as UPLT partners
• Enabling transformation programs, facilitating upskilling of employees, and developing strategy with respective portfolio VPs and PCLF members

Identifying and scaling up best practices across the global procurement organization

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Reporting to the Procurement GPT Program Leads, the purpose of this role is to drive Data & AI Procurement strategy and Procurement GPT program.

Use Case PMOs of Procurement GPT program are assigned to various Use Cases (such material forecasting, sustainability analytics, contract grading, etc,) support the Use Case product managers of AI use case and facing client.

Technical PMOs support data and ML engineering for various use cases, as well as the Procurement GPT architecture, facing technology and data.

Use Case PMO:

• Develop multiple procurement and sustainability AI use cases under 4 pillars of Procurement GPT program: GPT Assistants (hybrid), Competitive AI (make), Nego to Contract AI (hybrid), and Market Intel AI (buy).
• Build and run the right RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and Prompt Engineering activities for each of the use case based on product.
• Build Knowledge Graph of Procurement GPT on business logic side.

Technical PMO:

• Develop multiple AI agents with technical partners, orchestrate agents to work together and model as per different user persona
• Build Procurement Data Lake with data engineering team
• Build the pool of LLM (Large Language Model) for use cases
• Build Knowledge Graph of Procurement GPT on technical side

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Technical PMO: Proficient in data/statistics programming languages (Python/R), familiar with database languages (SQL/NoSQL/GSQL),
• Technical PMO: AI Engineering and Soft Engineering knowledge.
• Use Case PMO: Experienced Business Analyst roles in large organization, supply chain and/or procurement data analytics either in Unilever / FMCG industry is preferred, and have an experience in analysing commodity trend or geospatial data is preferred.
• Use Case PMO: Business sense and commercial acumen.
• Both: Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem, good logical thinking, and ability to quickly learn and understand new business problem to apply data techniques.
• Both: Has a comprehensive understanding of Agile principles, values, methodologies, and practices that enable agility and approaches delivery with an iterative and incremental (test - do – learn) approach.
• Both: Ability to work independently and lead diverse teams, across different geographies.
