Computer Systems Analyst

Overview

BAI is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst with a Data Science & Management and Information Assurance interests/educational background/experience. This role supports background for an electronic warfare data system contract at Point Mugu Naval Base near Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $150,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, research, and apply analytic models and deep learning, to datasets in a variety of domains, including computer vision, natural language processing, or time series analysis and provide future solutions/resolutions for an established data system
• Ensure that product and project designs meet the customer’s expectations and are delivered per schedule

Qualifications

• This is a Journeyman level labor category that requires 5 years of software development experience
• Experience with coding and programming languages, including Python
• Experience with creating automation scripts
• 2 years of Big Data Analytics / AI/ML
• Experience with Hardware & Software configuration of Big Data
• Experience with DevOps / CICD
• Experience using Agile Scrum process
• Experience with mentoring junior Analysts or Engineers

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science related discipline

Five (5) years’ experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Clearance:

Condition of employment - must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
