AI Architect Part-Time Hourly Freelancer

Summary

As an AI Architect at Foxbox Digital,  you will be responsible for the overall  communication and integration of the AI strategy for our clients by delivering AI-powered functionality in their products. You will collaborate in a rigorous documentation process to define the AI system's architecture and components, including data pipelines, model selection, and deployment strategies. You will evaluate technologies The AI Architect will use AI and machine learning (ML) applications to provide solutions within the client’s organizational goals. 

Responsibilities: 

• You will lead projects designing advanced architecture in Generative AI using Large Language Models (LLM), Machine Learning and Deep Learning Models/algorithms by enhancing existing automated business processes with predictive and intelligent decision-making, content aggregation and contextualized insights to deliver ingenious solutions. 
• You will Produce AI documentation using various language models that are appropriate for the client's environment. 
• You will ensure the compliance of data privacy regulations, ethical considerations, and best practices in AI development
• You will define and implement best practices for building, testing and deploying scalable AI solutions, with a focus on generative models and LLM by producing documentation and roll outs to the team consistently communicating and gaining stakeholder buy-in.  
• You will stay at the forefront of AI technological advancements, especially in Generative AI and LLM, and assess their applicability to our business needs by going through training, trade shows and conferences.
• You will oversee the technical aspects of AI projects, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and integration by participating in scrum and client meetings and mentoring individuals across departments. 
• You will work closely with cross functional teams including product managers, project managers, software engineers, QA engineers and product designers by acting as the subject matter expert for AI projects explaining and driving decisions that impact the achievement of company goals. . 
• You will collaborate with the QA team to set best practices through rigorous product testing in order to validate AI models ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

Who you are: 

• You are persistent in delivering impactful AI solutions and designing architectures on multiple projects.
• You are excellent at creating clarity and alignment for technical initiatives.
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, related field or related experience with AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
• You have experience with cloud-based AI services and platforms, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• You have 10+ years of professional programming experience (in any language) especially in Node JS or Python. 
• You have knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• You have strategic thinking skills including the ability to lead and resolve technical discussions.  
• You have exceptional communication skills – written, oral, visual, formal, informal (able to adapt to client environments technical and non-technical).
• You have experience working in a consulting environment. 
• You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• You have experience with agile software development methodologies. 
• You have experience bringing Generative AI into production is a plus.
• You have experience working in a professional services or consulting environment is a plus. 
• You have experience with data engineering pipelines and data preparation.
