You will accelerate Acxiom’s transformation to deliver marketing solutions on industry leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Google, Snowflake and Databricks. You will be part of multidisciplinary teams comprising of engineers, developers, analysts, and project managers to design and develop data, analytics, and AI solutions. Operating in a client-facing role, you will lead and participate in workshops to develop the overall technical vision for a modern, cloud native solution to a business problem. You will also play a critical role in turning that high-level vision into a detailed technical design and lead the delivery team to develop the solution. This high-impact leadership role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational acumen to drive business results and foster client success.

Responsibilities 

  • Understanding client’s objectives and creating technical vision
  • Developing detailed technical designs and frameworks
  • Leading delivery teams for the development of solutions
  • Design and develop reusable componentry/accelerators for repeatability and standardization  
  • Collaborating with clients and other Acxiom architects on application design and tech-stack selection  
  • Help scale global operations especially in offshore locations 
  • Participate in presales activities to develop client proposals, RFP responses, SOW creation, and developing demos. 
  • Consult with project/program managers on project planning and future state enhancements/road mapping. 
  • Hands-on participation on client issue resolution.
  • Mentor senior engineers and other team members on technical, communication & inter-personal skills. 
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve objectives 
  • Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transition in place before project wrap-up 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.  
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with 7+ years in senior architect roles leading large, global delivery teams within a professional services organization 
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering marketing technology solutions (e.g., CDPs, Clean Rooms) 
  • Hands-on expertise in public cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud native data cloud platforms like Snowflake and/or Databricks, preferably with a technical certification. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud topics like data storage, cloud deployment, security, governance, infrastructure as code, etc.
  • Deep experience of DevOps culture within multidisciplinary teams, and focus towards building fully automated CI/CD environments 
  • Proficiency in programming language of your choice, preferably Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other commercial/open-source data extract, transform, load toolsets.
  • Proficiency in cloud native OLAP and NoSQL databases and associated cloud-native data engineering and machine learning automated pipelines 
  • Prior experience in developing near real-time, event driven data applications  
  • Experience shaping and setting up successful cloud offerings from architectural to production point of view (end to end) 
  • Ability to grasp the big picture and develop a roadmap for operationalization 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with top management 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across diverse teams and cultures 
  • Ability to moderate and drive strategic discussions to practical and valuable outcomes and roadmaps 
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas to a range of audiences
