Power BI Analyst & IT Support Specialist

The Role: 

 We are looking for a Power BI Analyst & IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily focused on Power BI development (80-90%), with the remainder dedicated to hands-on IT support (10-20%). This is a great opportunity for someone with 2 years of Power BI experience who enjoys both data analytics and technical support.

• Target start date: Mid of May 2025
• Hybrid model - at least 2 days per week in Canary Wharf

Responsibilities:

Power BI & Data Analytics (80-90%)

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Work on data modelling, DAX calculations, and performance optimisation.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Use Python (nice to have) for data processing and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

IT Support & Technical Assistance (10-20%)

• Set up and configure new laptops and IT equipment for employees.
• Manage network connections, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and handle basic IT infrastructure tasks.
• Assist with hardware setup, including cables, docking stations, and peripherals.
• Handle purchase orders and inventory management for IT equipment.
• Oversee license management and software installations.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and IT support to employees as needed.

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• 2 years of experience with Power BI, with a 50-50 split between data visualisation and backend development.
• 1 year of experience as IT Support
• Basic DAX and data modelling experience is required.
• Basic SQL skills are expected.
• Python is a plus.
• Any Power BI or data-related certifications are beneficial.
• Prior experience in a consulting environment is a bonus.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (minimum 2 days per week onsite).
• Passionate about data analytics and IT support.
