Job description

Our Algorithms Team is a highly multidisciplinary group at the core of our data processing and detection capabilities, integrating physics, signal processing, classical algorithms, and AI models to meet our unique requirements. Within this team, the Computer Vision Team focuses on analysing above-ground data to improve the accuracy and reliability of our detection systems.


As a Computer Vision Engineer at Exodigo, you will develop advanced tools to automate the analysis workflows for our data. You will be at the forefront of creating algorithms that utilize machine learning and deep learning techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of above ground data interpretation. Collaborating closely with the analysis team, you will integrate the tools you develop into the analysis pipeline, improving their ability to derive actionable insights from above-ground images. Additionally, you will work alongside software engineers to quickly integrate your code into our production process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop advanced computer vision algorithms for image analysis, object detection, and segmentation in both 2D images and 3D data.
  • Enhance 3D data reconstruction by applying state-of-the-art photogrammetry techniques for surface mapping and object digitization.
  • Automate feature extraction and data interpretation from 3D models (point clouds) to enable insightful analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure seamless integration of extracted data with GIS and BIM to enhance functionality across the company's product line.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in computer vision algorithms development.
  • Extensive knowledge in photogrammetry techniques including deep learning for 3D reconstruction and point cloud analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including NumPy, SciPy, OpenCV, and Open3D.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (preferably PyTorch) for 3D vision tasks.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in relevant field.
  • Experience with BIM data and 3D modelling in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with Geo Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial data formats.
  • Experience in cloud environment development (AWS preferred).
