We are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager with a strong background as a Data Architect to lead and manage data projects with a focus on PySpark and Delta Lake technologies. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data-related projects while providing technical expertise in data architecture. This role requires a combination of project management skills, technical knowledge, and strong leadership abilities to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee data projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met;- Design scalable and efficient data architectures using PySpark and Delta Lake;- Provide technical guidance to the development team on implementing data solutions;- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure architectural consistency and adherence to standards;- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business goals;- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid experience in data architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on PySpark and Delta Lake;- Experience managing data projects as a Project Manager or similar role;- Expertise in PySpark for distributed data processing;- Strong knowledge of Delta Lake for data storage and management;- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data governance best practices.
