Databricks Azure Pyspark Data Engineer | GDC

What you’ll do?

• Work developing data products to support metal mining sites with data related to productivity and performance for metals at a natural resources client. We're looking for a proven, experienced Senior Data Engineer who is able to design, build and deploy solutions. Primary skills are Databricks (Azure), Python and SQL, but a good understanding of Azure Data Services in general is an asset.

What you’ll bring:

•    Maintain existing and build new ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Databricks

• Build, Design and Model data objects in Databricks

o    Proficient in Dimensional Modeling

o    Learns the business rules and why they matter, understands the needs of the business

•    Support Python-based data integrations

•    Write and maintain data transformations with DBT

•    Work closely with business teams to empower them with the right data

•    Collaborate with DevOps team on the CICD deployment of the DDL and DML code bases across multiple environments

•    Clear communicator

•    Willing to work on PST timezone

Required Skills:
