Job Summary:
Provides data analysis, business analysis, project leadership, subject matter expertise, to the teams assigned to high priority Operations deliverables and projects. Supports the Operations leadership team in the performance of process optimization, operational efficiency initiatives and change management as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- (90%) Technical Leadership & Innovation / Project Leadership
Provides subject matter (data, business, technical) leadership in support of key projects and deliverables.
Evaluates processes, identifies inefficiencies and optimization opportunities. Engages with stakeholders in the business and IT to evaluate feasibility. Leads and/or executes the documentation of stakeholder requirements. Establishes appropriate plans, oversees development of requirements, design and implementation. Researches, resolves and documents complex business, technical and data issues for a variety of stakeholders to support their business processes and associated timelines. Performs detailed data analysis as needed. Facilitates meetings and provides regular updates to stakeholders along with associated status materials.

Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Math, Statistics, or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years of insurance, reinsurance or other related field experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity
- Expert knowledge of reinsurance data
- Strong data analysis skills
- Expert knowledge of reinsurance operations
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Intermediate MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point and SQL skills
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Project management and business analysis
- Working knowledge of HLR America operations and administrative business practices
- Advanced working knowledge of life insurance/reinsurance treaties
Travel:
- 5% - domestic travel, overnight stay
Total Compensation (Inclusive of Base + Bonus):
- $124,500 - $168,500
