Power BI Specialist

Engineering Industries eXcellence India is seeking a full-time, 100% remote Power BI Specialist with 12+ years of experience to join our growing team in India. This individual will be responsible for:

Data Collection and Analysis

• Extract, clean, and analyze data from SAP, Salesforce, and other systems to provide actionable insights.

• Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business outcomes.

Report Development

• Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI for decision-making.

• Ensure reports meet the needs of various departments like finance, sales, and operations.

Business Process Support

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Develop workflows and apps using Power Apps to improve operational efficiency.

Data Integration

• Build and manage data models and pipelines to integrate data from SAP, Salesforce, and other sources.

• Ensure data quality and accuracy through robust validation processes.

Training and Documentation

• Train end-users on Power BI dashboards and Power Apps.

• Create and maintain documentation for data models, workflows, and analytics processes.

Strategic Insights

• Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic initiatives.

• Leverage BI tools to enhance digital transformation efforts. 

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, and Power Apps.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts.

• Development experience in Node.js and VBS (preferred).

• Proficiency in Excel file manipulation for data transformation.

• Familiarity with APIs and system integration.

• Nice to have: Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.

• Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning.

• Understanding of professional services operations.
