We are looking for a Process Data Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize data systems in a highly data-driven manufacturing environment. You will integrate existing tools or introduce new technologies to drive efficiency, cost savings, and innovation. This role requires global collaboration with teams in Taiwan and the US to standardize systems and work processes, ensuring the adoption of Most Effective Technologies (METs).

As a primary system administrator, you will also manage system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting while proactively responding to internal and external customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data systems to support manufacturing

• Integrate and optimize existing tools or introduce new ones for operational and financial benefits.

• Standardize processes and systems in alignment with Taiwan and US counterparts.

• Support MES, reporting applications, and shop floor systems for manufacturing and quality.

• Manage system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting as a primary administrator.

• Leverage Azure technologies (App Services, Databricks, Power BI) for analytics and automation.

• Train and support end-users to enhance adoption and efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing value-added enhancements.

• Ensure seamless integration with SAP/ERP and other manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering or relevant fields

• 5+ years of experience in data management, system integration, and programming (SQL, C#, .NET, Python, R, JavaScript, etc.)

• Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems, MES, and industrial data management

• Experience with system administration, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with barcode/RFID systems (Bartender, Loftware) and barcode integration

• Familiarity with Wonderware/AVEVA (InTouch, Historian, Industrial Application Server)

• Hands-on experience with Azure, Power BI, Power Apps, and SAP xMII

• Background in CMP manufacturing or discrete parts industry
