Siemens Gamesa is looking for an intern to join our Data Science team in the Nacelles Operations Transport area. This position is ideal for someone who is currently studying technical logistics, business engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, and is eager to apply their knowledge in a real business environment. You will work closely with our Senior Logistics Project Manager, contributing to the creation and management of databases, KPIs, collection and consolidations of data, and visualizations in Power BI.

How to contribute to our vision

  • Collaborate with the Logistics PM and related stakeholders to identify and define data requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain databases related to our plant logistics and transport tool management.
  • Support to develop and maintain key KPIs for logistics tracking.
  • Create and manage dashboards in Power BI for logistics data visualization.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Collect and consolidate data
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute with ideas and innovative solutions.

    What You Need to Make a Difference
     
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, mathematics, technical logistics, business engineer, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • You are a friendly, open minded person, self-driven and highly motivated and you enjoy working in a multifunctional and international environment
  • Knowledge of Power BI and advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of working on Sharepoint forms
  • Previous experience with Microsoft applications and Office 365 package
  • Ability to work with large data sets and perform quantitative analyses.
  • Proactivity, teamwork skills, and good communication abilities.
  • Previous experience in internships or projects related to Data Science and/or Logistics will be valued.
  • Solid English skills
