We are Hiring
We are looking for a talented and independently motivated Data Scientist to join our Data Science team.

About the job
Your core responsibilities can include (but are not limited to)
• Develop and implement classification models
• Develop and implement forecasting models
• Design, implement and report on experiments to test effectiveness of any proposed models
• Work with other groups within BigPay to improve their use of existing data - Identify areas where BigPay could improve the data it collects; provide recommendations on how to make these improvements
• Help maintain existing code in the Data Science team
• Perform other relevant tasks as needed

To be successful
You should have:
• Excellent communication skills
• Some programming experiences
• The role requires an individual with strong mathematical and statistical analytical skills.
• Bayesian methods
• Machine learning
• Analysis of large data sets
• Data presentation
• Some form of relational database experience (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLServer)
• Design of experiments

A successful candidate would be required to be able to work with a broad range of statistical tools and techniques and be able to implement these in a business setting.
