Head of Process Analytics Engineering and Maintenance

We are looking for a Head of Process Analytics Engineering and Maintenance at Arxada's largest manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have expert-level experience in leading and developing a team of professionals and technicians in the field of process analytical technology innovation, engineering and maintenance. Relevant experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical or food and feed industries is required.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide leadership to the team and work closely with other disciplines at the Visp site
• Plan, direct and supervise project planning and execution activities for assigned process analytical projects in a safe, compliant, efficient, effective and innovative manner
• Enforce best practices for project engineering, plant maintenance and project management within the team
• Develop and implement the future strategy for Process Analytics
• Evaluate technical improvements, define maintenance strategies and adjust maintenance planning according to the requirements of internal customers.
• Subject Matter Expert: Development and training of technical processes and standards for assigned subject areas
• Challenging the status quo to elevate team performance and become a vital part of Arxada’s growth

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Fluent in German and English
• 5-10 years experience in process analytics/analytical chemistry
• Highly independent, organised and flexible
• Experience in optical spectroscopy and chemometrics
• Innovative thinking
• Understanding of business and financial processes
