Software Engineer III

Position Summary...

Do you have good analytical skills and coding skills? Then this role is for you! As a Software Engineer in Operations, you will first learn about the World largest retailer’s Warehouse management system solutions used in receiving millions of products from suppliers, managing products within Warehouse and delivering to Stores /Customer in the most cost-effective ways. You will get firsthand experience in understanding the sophisticated order journey flow in Walmart. As a Fortune #1 company, our work impacts millions of associates globally. We strive to continuously improve our WMS systems to help better associate and vendor experience working in the distribution centers. We invest in tools that not only are easy to use but also allow time savings and intuitive. You will get to witness some of the tech advancements that is revolutionizing the supply chain market. This position will also require us to interact with members working on Walmart's fully Automated Warehouse management system and channelize their effort on improving throughput of store/customers’ orders in an omnichannel environment.

What you'll do...

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and own the monitoring framework interfacing with various applications
• Lead and collaborate with Developers, Product teams, and Business stakeholders to support new feature launches and service deployments
• Enhance deployment automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency
• Conduct in-depth research to optimize existing systems and prevent issues
• Drive improvements in system reliability, analytics, and automated reporting
• Take proactive measures to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Act as a key point of escalation for critical production issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution. Improve and refine on-call support processes and incident management strategies.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and operations.
• Strong expertise in Java 8, Java springboot 2.0, Azure SQL, and SQL/no-SQL Databases (MongoDB, MS SQL, Cassandra, Cosmos DB, Elastic).

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Should have implemented at least one AI usecase using GPT-4
• Proficiency in caching and messaging solutions (Kafka, Megacache, Couchbase)
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Splunk, Medusa, Kibana)
• Familiarity with React and Mobile SDKs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
