Business Intelligence Developer (NAM Shift)

Job Function Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Developer with over 5+ years of experience to join our team. Tableau experience is mandatory. The role involves developing business intelligence solutions and running data analytics to enhance middle office and operational processes. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background to develop business intelligence solutions, data engineering solutions, MIS/BI reports, and process re-engineering documentation as part of the broader Operations & Middle Office organization.

The candidate will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and senior management across departments and regions to design and implement data projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery.

Principal Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain visually compelling dashboards and reports in Tableau to meet business requirements.

• Candidate will build Tableau dashboards and perform necessary data transformation tasks to clean, normalize, and structure data for analytics. This may involve building complex dashboards and charts.

• Build reports on trades, positions, and exposures for internal stakeholders, and regulatory requirements. This involves maintaining accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.

• Write, optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyze data from relational databases.

• Coordinate and work closely with internal teams across Ops, Legal, Compliance and Finance departments globally as necessary to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable Tableau solutions.

• Monitor and maintain Tableau dashboards and underlying data sources to ensure continuous availability.

 Qualifications/Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer.

• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

• Experience in financial services; strong knowledge of financial instruments, securities and derivatives

• Strong knowledge of SQL.

• Self-starter, solid organizational skills, ability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills (project plans, presentations, data mining, analysis).

• Detail-oriented; demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work.

• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with wider teams internally as well as with external parties.

• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.

• The role is expected to work during the late EMEA shift and be available until 3 PM EST (US Time).
